Yummy Potatoes (or Funeral Potatoes)

Ingredients

lb
frozen hash browns
I like to use O'brien cubed potatoes
½
cup
melted butter
1
tsp
salt
1
tsp
pepper
½
cup
chopped onions
not necessary if using O'brien potatoes
1
10.5 oz can
cream of mushroom soup
can use cream of chicken
2
cups
sour cream
2
cups
grated cheddar cheese
sharp or medium
2-3
cups
corn flakes
Instructions
Hash browns should be half thawed.
Preheat oven to 350
Add grated cheese, onions, salt, pepper, soup, sour cream and about ¼ c butter into a large bowl.
Mix thoroughly.
add hash browns and mix.
Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish.
Spread potato mixture evenly in pan.
Top with corn flakes
pour remaining butter over top of corn flakes.
Bake @ 350º for 1 hr
