Ingredients
Saute:

minced onion

oil
Mix in:

flour
Gradually add

chicken broth
or chicken bouillon & water
After liquids come to a boil, stir in:

cups
precooked wild rice
½
cup
diced cooked chicken
½
cup
finely chopped carrots

Tbsp
almonds, toasted
optional
½
tsp
salt
¼
tsp
pepper
Blend in:
1
cup
milk
1
Tbsp
parsley or chives
Instructions
Simmer for 5 mins, then blend in the milk and add parsley or chives
