Strawberry Pie
Ingredients
- 4 cups whole strawberries washed
- 3 Tbsp cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 pie shell
- red food coloring optional
Instructions
- Crush ½ of strawberries. Stir in cornstarch, sugar & lemon juice.
- Cook, stirring constantly until thick.
- Remove from heat and add red food coloring until desired color.
- Allow strawberries to cool.
- Mix in rest of strawberries and put in pie shell. Refrigerate.
- Serve topped with whipped cream.
