Ingredients

yeast

warm water

mashed potatoes

scalded milk

eggs
well beaten
⅔
cup
melted butter

vanilla

salt

sugar

flour
Glaze:
2
Tbsp
butter
melted
⅓
cup
water
1
lb
powdered sugar
1
Tbsp
vanilla
Instructions
Mix well. Let rise.
On a floured surface, roll out dough to about ¼" thick.
Cut "spudnuts" by using a cookie cutter or the top of a glass. Place on a floured piece of parchment and allow to rise until about double in size.
Fry in a deep fryer approx. 1-2 min. on each side (depends upon on how hot your oil is). Place hot donuts on a paper towel.
Glaze:
Melt butter and add to warm water, add vanilla and then gradually add the powdered sugar.
Glaze the donuts while they are warm, but not hot.
