Red cabbage

butter (not margarine)
⅔-1

sugar
depending on how large your head of cabbage is
¼
cup
vinegar
Instructions
This recipe depends on the size of the cabbage so it will be important for you to adjust the sugar and vinegar accordingly.
It takes at least an hour or more to cook it down, it's a long and slow process. Don't cover the pot with a lid.
Boil for approx. 3 minutes then turn burner down to simmer.
let it simmer for at least an hour or more. The cabbage should be very soft and limp
