Pecan Pie

Ingredients
Pie Crust:
3
cups
flour
1½
cup
shortening
1
tsp
salt
1
egg
1
Tbsp
vinegar
4
Tbsp
ICE water
Pie:
3
eggs
½
cup
sugar
1
cup
light corn syrup
1
cup
pecans
1
tsp
vanilla
¼
cup
butter
melted
dash of salt
Instructions
Crust:
Cream shortening into flour & salt.
Beat together egg & vinegar. Add to flour mixture
Mix in ice water. Blend thoroughly, will feel like cookie dough.
Roll out onto floured surface and place into pie plates. (makes 2 crusts)
Pie Filling:
Mix all ingredients together and pour into unbaked pie crust.
Bake at 350° for 1 hour
