Pat Perrenoud's Huckleberry Cake

Ingredients

butter

sugar

flour

milk

eggs

tsp
salt

tsp
nutmeg

tsp
cinnamon

tsp
soda

tsp
baking powder
1
quart
huckleberries
dredged in 1/4 cup flour
Instructions
Mix together dry ingredients (not huckleberries)
Cream together sugar and butter. Add in eggs and milk
Mix dry ingredients into butter mixture
Add huckleberries last (put them in a ziplock bag first and coat them well with the flour
Pour cake into a greased 9x13 pan covered with parchement
Bake at 350 for 40 minutes

This is my friend, Pat's recipe. It came from an old note card handed down in their family. It is a family favorite of theirs.
