Lay these out in a 9x13 pan and toast them in a 325 degree oven. Stir every 5 minutes . 15 minutes total.
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup unsweetened coconut
- 1/2 cup almonds chopped or slivered
- 1/2 cup pecans
Bring to boil over medium heat and boil for 5 minutes
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup honey
Add to hot butter/date mixture after you take it from the stove.
- 1 tsp vanilla I add a little more sometimes
- 3/4 tsp almond extract
Then pour over the toasted ingredients Mix together and press into the 9x13 pan.
