Harker's BASIC BLENDER ROLLS

Ingredients

Blender mix #1

  • 2 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp instant yeast

Blender mix #2

  • 6 eggs
  • 2 teas salt

Dry ingredients

  • 8-10 cups flour

Cinnamon Roll Filling

  • 3/4 cup Butter -softened
  • 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp cinnamon

Cinnamon Roll Glaze

  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3-4 cups powdered sugar

Orange Roll Filling

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 orange rind— grated

Orange Roll Glaze

  • 2 oranges— squeeze juice
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3-4 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

Blender Mix #1

  • In blender combine water, oil, sugar and yeast. Blend well. Pour into mixing bowl and let sit till yeast begins to bubble up good.

Blender Mix #2

  • Combine eggs and salt in blender. Blend till nice and frothy! Pour into mixing bowl with the yeast etc.

Dry ingredients

  • Slowly add enough flour to get a nice soft dough while mixer is going. Let knead for 5 minutes. When dough is to desired consistency, form into balls (or another favorite roll shape). Place on greased cookie sheet. Let rise for a couple hours. Bake @ 375F for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Brush tops with melted butter.

    You can also make cinnamon or orange rolls with this recipe.

Cinnamon Roll Filling

  • Roll dough into a rectangle. Mix ingredients well and spread onto the dough. Cut and place on greased cookie sheet. Let rise for a couple hours. Bake @350F for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Cinnamon Roll Glze

  • In a saucepan melt butter with sugar until sugar is dissolved. Do not overcook. Remove from heat and add milk. Stir in enough powdered sugar to make a smooth glaze. Spread on rolls while still warm.
    ENJOY!

Orange Roll Filling

  • Roll dough into a rectangle. Mix ingredients well and spread on the dough. Cut and place on greased cookie sheet. Let rise for a couple hours. Bake @350F for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

  • Squeeze juice from oranges. Combine with butter and powdered sugar to make a smooth glaze. Spread on rolls while still warm.
