*rinse sauerkraut, then chop fine. Put it in a blender and blend with 1 cup water
Bake for 30-40 minutes at 350°.
When cake is done. Top with minature marshmallows and toast in oven until light brown
Allow to cool.
Frosting
Add all ingredients except the chocolate chips to a small sauce pan. Bring to a hard boil for about 30 seconds. Remove from heat and add ¾ cups chocolate chips.
Pour over marshmallows and spread evenly

Nearly every family gathering we attended, Grandma brought this cake. Everyone loved it. She always got a laugh that no one knew it had sauerkraut in it. It is yumy....you gotta try it.
