Christmas Kisses

Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1¾ cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • candy kisses

Instructions

  • Cream butter & Peanut butter. 
  • Add sugars and cream together. 
  • Beat in egg & vanilla. 
  • Combine flour, soda, & salt.  Mix well with sugar mixture. 
  • Shape into balls and roll in sugar. 
  • Bake  at 350 on an ungreased cookie sheet for 8 minutes.  Remove from the oven and top each cookie w/a choc. kiss. Return to the oven for just a minute or two

Notes

While these are definitely BEST with a chocolate Kiss on top, this is also the recipe that I use for just plain peanut butter cookies, as well.  I don’t flatten them with a fork…I just roll them into a ball, roll them in sugar and bake them.
