Cheesy Potato Soup

- 8 cups potatoes cubed
- 3 cans chicken broth
- 3 lg carrots grated
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 lg onion chopped
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1¾ cups celery chopped
- ¾ cup butter
- ¾ cup flour
- 1½ qt half-n-half
- 1 8 oz jar cheez whiz I actually use a 16 oz jar as I like it cheesier
- ½-¾ cup crumbled bacon
In large pot combine vegetables, broth, salt & pepper. Boil for 10 min. then let simmer
In a sauce pan melt butter, add flour and mix well.
Add half-n-half to flour mixture. Then add cheez whiz
Mix veggies and cheese sauce.
top with crumbled bacon
