Carrot Cookies

Ingredients

cup
shortening (no substitutes)
1
cup
sugar
2
cups
flour
2
eggs
1
tsp
baking powder
1
cup
cooked, mashed carrots
Frosting:
3/4
cup
powdered sugar
2
tbsp
orange juice
2
tbsp
butter
Instructions
Cream shortening & sugar.
Add eggs and mix well.
Add baking powder & flour.
Add carrots.
Drop on ungreased cookie sheet & bake @ 350 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Frost while hot.
