Cabbage Salsa (or Salad)

Ingredients
Sauce:
1
cup
sugar
¾
cup
cider vinegar
½
cup
vegetable oil or olive oil
¼
tsp
pepper

tsp
salt
Salad:
1
head
green cabbage
finely chopped
1
green bell pepper
finely chopped
1
bunch
green onions
finely chopped
1
bunch
cilantro
finely chopped
Instructions
Soak all the vegetables in a mixture of white vinegar & water.
After it has soaked for about 30 min. Chop finely with a knife
For the Sauce: gently boil the sugar and vinegar for 5 min. then cool
Add remaining ingredients.
Make sure it is cool before adding it to the greens. Don't add sauce to greens until ready to eat.
