Broccoli Salad
Ingredients
- 2 bunches fresh broccoli chopped
- 1 medium red onion chopped
- 1½ cup craisins
- ½ cup salted sunflower seeds
- 1 lb bacon fried & chopped I cut it into small pieces and fry up
Dressing:
- 1½ cup mayonnaise
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients.
- Mix dressing ingredients and set aside.
- Pour dressing over salad 15-30 min. before serving.
- Mix dressing ingredients and save to use for salad
Notes
My family went to a party at Jamie and Lynnette Beers' house. Jamie's 80+ year old mother brouth this salad. I really only ate some to be polite and LOVED IT! She wrote the recipe down completely from memory on the spot when I asked if she would share....Amazing!
