In large mixer bowl cream together butter, eggs & sugars.
Add buttermilk.
Sift together dry ingredients.
Mix with egg & butter mixture
Add bran flakes, bran buds & vanilla.
Spray muffin tins liberally
Bake @ 400º for 15-20 min.
Notes
You can substitute buttermilk with 2 tablespoons lemon juice and regular milk equaling 2 cups.You can store prepared muffin mix in the refrigerator for up to 6 weeks and bake as needed.
