Toast & Gravy

Another family favorite, especially with Gary!

Instructions

  • Make a milk gravy: 
  • ½ c margarine melted in pot. 
  • Add ½ c flour. 
  • Add approx 2 c milk, Stir in, add more milk as needed. 
  • Salt & pepper the milk gravy to taste. 
  • I like to scramble a couple of eggs separately and add to the gravy. 
  • Toast several slices of bread. 
  • In a large bowl alternate as follows:  Gravy, toast, gravy, toast. And so forth.  Pour any remaining gravy on top of the stack. 
  • Serve immediately
