Strawberry Pie

Ingredients

  • 4 cups whole strawberries washed
  • 3 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 pie shell
  • red food coloring optional

Instructions

  • Crush ½ of strawberries. Stir in cornstarch, sugar & lemon juice.
  • Cook, stirring constantly until thick.
  • Remove from heat and add red food coloring until desired color.
  • Allow strawberries to cool.
  • Mix in rest of strawberries and put in pie shell. Refrigerate.
  • Serve topped with whipped cream.
