Red Cabbage (Danish Version)

- 1 head Red cabbage
- 1 cup butter (not margarine)
- ⅔-1 cup sugar depending on how large your head of cabbage is
- ¼ cup vinegar
Instructions
- This recipe depends on the size of the cabbage so it will be important for you to adjust the sugar and vinegar accordingly.
- It takes at least an hour or more to cook it down, it's a long and slow process. Don't cover the pot with a lid.
- Boil for approx. 3 minutes then turn burner down to simmer.
