Pat Perrenoud’s Huckleberry Cake
COOK MODEIngredients
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cup sugar
- 3 cup flour
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp soda
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 quart huckleberries dredged in 1/4 cup flour
Instructions
- Mix together dry ingredients (not huckleberries)
- Cream together sugar and butter. Add in eggs and milk
- Mix dry ingredients into butter mixture
- Add huckleberries last (put them in a ziplock bag first and coat them well with the flour
- Pour cake into a greased 9×13 pan covered with parchement
- Bake at 350 for 40 minutes

This is my friend, Pat’s recipe. It came from an old note card handed down in their family. It is a family favorite of theirs.
