Hot Fudge Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 13 oz. can evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ¾ cup light corn syrup

Instructions

  • In a double boiler melt 1 c butter (I don’t have a double boiler.  I just do it in a sauce pan). 
  • Add cocoa and sugar. 
  • Mix well and add milk, vanilla, and corn syrup. 
  • Turn down heat and let simmer to dissolve sugar. 
  • Turn heat off, sauce thickens as it cools.
