Homemade Tomato Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 14-16oz can diced tomatoes I like Italian seasoned
  • ½ cup milk or cream
  • ¼ tsp baking soda

Instructions

  • Empty tomatoes into a blender and blend just enough to get rid of the big chunks, but don’t puree. 
  • Pour into sauce pan. 
  • Add milk, then heat.  Do not heat tomatoes first or else it will curdle the milk.  They must both be cold. 
  • After it is heated completely add the soda, blend well and serve hot!
