Homemade Tomato Soup
Ingredients
- 1 14-16oz can diced tomatoes I like Italian seasoned
- ½ cup milk or cream
- ¼ tsp baking soda
Instructions
- Empty tomatoes into a blender and blend just enough to get rid of the big chunks, but don’t puree.
- Pour into sauce pan.
- Add milk, then heat. Do not heat tomatoes first or else it will curdle the milk. They must both be cold.
- After it is heated completely add the soda, blend well and serve hot!
