Garden Medley Soup

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup butter
  • ¾ cup flour
  • 4 cups half & half
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 2 crowns broccoli
  • 3-4 carrots, diced

Instructions

  • Melt butter and whisk in flour. 
  • Slowly add half- &-half, stirring until thick.
  • Season to taste and add cheese.
  • Stir until melted. 
  • Steam broccoli, cauliflower and carrots until cooked. 
  • Pour sauce over veggies. 
  • If too thick, thin with milk.
