Cream Cheese Frosting
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup butter (2 cubes)
- 2 Tbsp vanilla
- ¼-½ cup heavy cream or evaporated milk
- 2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Cream together cream cheese, butter vanilla & cream/milk until fluffy
- slowly add powdered sugar until spreading consistency.
- add more powdered sugar for a thicker frosting
Notes
I like mine fairly thin for cinnamon rolls….too thin to spread on a cake. It just seems to spread easier. I also do a thin layer of frosting on my cinnamon rolls while still hot. After they are cooled for awhile I add another layer of frosting. For cake frosting just add more powdered sugar to reach desired consistency.
