Cheesy Potato Soup

Ingredients

  • 8 cups potatoes cubed
  • 3 cans chicken broth
  • 3 lg carrots grated
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 lg onion chopped
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • cups celery chopped
  • ¾ cup butter
  • ¾ cup flour
  • qt half-n-half
  • 1 8 oz jar cheez whiz I actually use a 16 oz jar as I like it cheesier
  • ½-¾ cup crumbled bacon

Instructions

  • In large pot combine vegetables, broth, salt & pepper. Boil for 10 min. then let simmer
  • In a sauce pan melt butter, add flour and mix well.
  • Add half-n-half to flour mixture. Then add cheez whiz
  • Mix veggies and cheese sauce.
  • top with crumbled bacon
