Butternut Squash
Ingredients
- 1 lg butternut squash
- ¼ cup loose brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Cut squash in half lengthwise. Remove seeds.
- place cut side down in shallow baking pan lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
- Bake 35-45 minutes,
- Test with fork.
- Remove and Sprinkle with salt and brown sugar.
- return to oven. Bake until toasty brown.
- Squash may be mashed, drizzled with butter, honey or syrup.
