Balsamic Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • ¼-⅓ yellow onion diced
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp chicken bouillon paste
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • carmelize the onion in olive oil
  • remove from heat, drain any excess oil. Add chicken bouillon & balsamic vinegar to create a rue
  • gradually add heavy whipping cream, keeping the sauce at a simmer and stirring constantly
  • gradually add grated cheese

Notes

A little goes a long way!
 
Goes well with ravioli (butternut squash), brocooli and other lightly unseasoned veggies.
