Baking Powder Biscuits OR Cheese & Garlic Biscuits OR Breakfast Biscuits
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1 cup milk
For Cheese & Garlic Biscuits I add:
- 1/2 – 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup grated cheese
For Breakfast Biscuits I add:
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup ground flax seed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450
- Mix all of the dry ingredients together in a bowl.
- Stir in oil & milk.
- Drop onto ungreased sheet and bake at 450 for 10 to 12 minutes.
- For Cheese & Garlic Biscuits, spread with melted butter after baking.
- For Breakfast Biscuits, drizzle with a glaze made out of orange juice & powdered sugar after baking.
Notes
I like these biscuits because I don’t have to roll and cut them out…I just drop them on the baking sheet.
