Baking Powder Biscuits OR Cheese & Garlic Biscuits OR Breakfast Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 cup milk

For Cheese & Garlic Biscuits I add:

  • 1/2 – 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup grated cheese

For Breakfast Biscuits I add:

  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup ground flax seed

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450
  • Mix all of the dry ingredients together in a bowl.
  • Stir in oil & milk.
  • Drop onto ungreased sheet and bake at 450 for 10 to 12 minutes.
  • For Cheese & Garlic Biscuits, spread with melted butter after baking.
  • For Breakfast Biscuits, drizzle with a glaze made out of orange juice & powdered sugar after baking.

Notes

I like these biscuits because I don’t have to roll and cut them out…I just drop them on the baking sheet.
