Dilly Bread

Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp yeast
  • ¾ cup warm water
  • 3 cups cottage cheese (room temperature)
  • cup sugar
  • 3 Tbsp Tbsp minced dried onion
  • 3 Tbsp oil
  • 2 Tbsp dill seed
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 3 eggs
  • 6½ – 8 cups flour

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients except flour.
  • Add flour one cup at a time to right consistency.
  • Divide into two loaf pans (I especially like these made into rolls).
  • Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.
  • Brush tops with butter and sprinkle with Kosher Salt.
