Snickerdoodles

Course: Cookies & Bars

Ingredients

  • ½ cup shortening
  • cup flour
  • ½ cup soft margarine
  • 2 tsp cream of tartar
  • cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ Tbsp salt

Instructions

  • Cream shortening, sugar & eggs. 
  • Mix dry ingredients & gradually add to the cream mixture.  Should be a stiff dough. Refrigerate for a little while if not.
  • Roll into small balls and roll into a mixture of  2 Tbsp sugar & 2 Tbsp cinnamon. 
  • Bake at 325º for approx. 10 min.
