Star Spangled Trifle
Ingredients
- 1 angel food cake
- 1 small pkg raspberry gelatin
- 1 small pkg instant vanilla pudding
- 2 cups strawberries sliced
- 2 cups blueberries
- 2 bananas sliced
- 1 pint whipping cream
Instructions
- Cut the angel food cake into 1" cubes and place in the bottom of a glass bowl.
- Make up the gelatin according to directions, allow it to cool for a few minutes, and pour it over the cake.
- Place fruit over the cake.
- Mix pudding according to directions and pour it over the fruit.
- Refrigerate for at least 10 min.
- Just before serving, top trifle with whipped cream sweetened to taste with vanilla and powdered sugar.
- Garnish with fresh fruit if desired
