Star Spangled Trifle

Ingredients

  • 1 angel food cake
  • 1 small pkg raspberry gelatin
  • 1 small pkg instant vanilla pudding
  • 2 cups strawberries sliced
  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 2 bananas sliced
  • 1 pint whipping cream

Instructions

  • Cut the angel food cake into 1" cubes and place in the bottom of a glass bowl.
  • Make up the gelatin according to directions, allow it to cool for a few minutes, and pour it over the cake.
  • Place fruit over the cake.
  • Mix pudding according to directions and pour it over the fruit.
  • Refrigerate for at least 10 min.
  • Just before serving, top trifle with whipped cream sweetened to taste with vanilla and powdered sugar.
  • Garnish with fresh fruit if desired
