Mushroom Gravy
Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp butter divided
- 1 lb mushrooms
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 1½ cup water
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 2 Tbsp heavy whipping cream
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp garlic salt
Instructions
- In a skillet, melt 2 Tbsp butter, add mushrooms and sauté until soft. Remove mushrooms and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and flour; stir with whisk. Slowly add water, whisking continuously. Add bouillon.
- After the bouillon has dissolved, add cream, salt and garlic. Add already cooked mushrooms. Serve hot over mashed potatoes.
