Golden Syrup
Ingredients
- ¼ cup white sugar
- ½ tsp vinegar
- 1 tsp water
- ⅓ cup light corn syrup
- ½ cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- Put sugar in a pan, shake the pan so sugar is even. Sprinkle it with vinegar and water mixture. Cook over low heat, without stirring for 5 min.
- Increase heat to medium & cook until syrup has taken caramel color, 5-6 min.
- Remove from heat & pour in corn syrup. DO NOT STIR! Let bubble for 2-3 min. When bubbling stops, stir well.
- Add heavy whipping cream.
