7 Layer Salad

Ingredients

Dressing

  • 1⅓ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 2 tsp white vinegar apple cider works too
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • cup grated parmesan cheese

Salad

  • 12 slices thick-cut cooked bacon diced
  • 4 cups lettuce (romaine or iceberg chopped
  • 2 cups grape tomatoes halved
  • 6 lg hard boiled eggs sliced
  • 1 16 oz bag frozen peas thawed
  • cup freshly grated cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Add all of the dressing ingredients to a medium-sized mixing bowl and whisk to combine. Set aside until ready to use.
  • Cook bacon. Drain well with paper towels, set aside for later use
  • In large clear bowl, layer in following order: Lettuce, tomatoes, hard boiled eggs, then peas.
  • Pour the dressing over the peas and spread evenly across top.
  • Sprinkle with cheddar cheese
  • Top with crumbled bacon.
  • Cover and chill in fridge until ready to serve
