1½cupchocolate chipssemi or milk, whatever you prefer

Mix flour and sugar. Add 1 c butter, cut in until crumbly. Spray 9X13 pan with non-stick spray and press in flour mixture. Bake @ 350 for 20 to 25 minutes until lightly brown.
In a 2 quart sauce pan, stir ½ c butter, condensed milk & corn syrup. Cook over medium heat until it is melted & well blended. Add brown sugar and cook until the mixture is caramel colored and getting really thick…probably about 15 minutes. Stir constantly so it doesn’t burn. Pour evenly over the cooled base & chill. Melt the choc. chips in the microwave stirring every minute until smooth. Spread over caramel. Let chocolate firm up before serving
