Triple Chocolate Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg devil's food cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 lg pkg instant chocolate pudding mix
  • ½ cup hot water
  • ¾ cup butter melted
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • cups semisweet chocolate chips

Glaze

  • cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  • Combine cake mix, eggs, pudding, water & butter. Mix on low-medium speed, increase speed until mixture is smooth
  • Stir in 1 ½ cups of chocolate chips
  • Pour batter into prepared bundt pan. I use pan spray and lightly flour to prevent sticking
  • Bake 50-55 min. Cool in pan on a wire rack 10-15 minutes. remove from pan, and cool completely on a wire rack.

Glaze:

  • Combine remaining chocolate chips and cream ina heavy sauce pan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, just until morsels melt. Let stand 15 minutes.
  • Drizzle chocolate glaze over cake; garnish with chopped pecans. Let stand at least 1 hour before serving.
  • Leftover chocolate glaze may be used as an ice-cream topping
