Sweet & Sour Glazed Chicken
Ingredients
- Sauce:
- ¾ cup sugar
- ½ cup vinegar
- ½ cup chicken broth or water
- 4 Tbsp ketchup
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp cornstarch
Instructions
- Mix in saucepan and cook until it becomes thick and clear. May need to double sauce recipe if you want to use it on rice (I always do).
- 6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves cut into strips or nuggets—wash, coat with flour and brown in a greased skillet or deep fat fryer. Drain and place in 9 x 13 baking dish & cover with sauce. Bake uncovered @ 350 for 15 minutes. Turn and bake for 10 more minutes.
