Scalloped Corn
COOK MODEIngredients
- 1 can creamed corn
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup dried bread crumbs divided
- 3 Tbsp pimento chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- dash of pepper
- 2 egg whites stiffly beaten
Instructions
- Combine corn and milk, 3/4 cup bread crumbs, pimento, and pepper. Mix well
- Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
- Pour in buttered 1 quart baking dish.
- Top with remaining bread crumbs.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
- Variation: omit pimento and add 1/2-1 cup chopped celery and substitute one egg for beaten egg whites.
