John’s Crock Pot Potatoes

Ingredients
- 5 lb bag of potatoes (John used #10's)
- 1 pkg cream cheese
- 8 to 12 oz sour cream
- ½-1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp onion powder (must be onion powder, not garlic) Optional
- 1 egg white
- 1 cup butter
Instructions
- Peel potatoes (John left skins on), cut in quarters,
- Place in large pot. Cover with water
- boil until a fork goes through easily (but not too mushy),
- drain,
- add cream cheese, sour cream, salt, onion powder, mix with hand mixer,
- taste to see if there is enough salt and onion powder (add more a little at a time if needed)
- add egg white, mix.
- If not creamy enough, add more sour cream. NO MILK IS ADDED TO THIS RECIPE!
- Put in fridge until ready to put in crock pot.
- spray crock pot with pam,
- put in crock pot 2 hours before serving,
- crock pot on low, stir only once, add pats of butter.
