Janene’s Simple Chicken Tater Tot Casserole

Ingredients

  • 3 cups chopped cooked chicken
  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 1 10.5 oz can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
  • 1 1 oz pkg of ranch dressing mix
  • 1 cup chopped bacon
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 30-32 oz bag frozen tater tots

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Lightly spray a 9×13" pan with cooking spray. Set aside
  • In a large bowl, mix together chicken, sour cream, soup, ranch mix, bacon and cheese.
  • Fold in frozen tater tots. Spoon mixture into prepared pan.
  • Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes, until bubbly.

Notes

Can substitute turkey bacon.
You don’t need to thaw the tater tots before adding them to the casserole. You can, but it’s not necessary.
