Ice Cream Cake

Ingredients

  • 1-2 pkgs cookies Oreos, Vanilla cream cookies or iced animal crackers
  • ½ cup butter
  • 2x ½ gallon ice cream anything to go with the cookies, softened
  • 12 oz cool whip
  • chocolate or caramel ice cream topping

Instructions

  • Crush the cookies in food processor or blender.
  • melt butter and add to cookies. Use this for the crust on your cake.
  • Press 1/2 of cookie crust into 9×13 cake pan
  • Top crust with one ice cream
  • Spread with another layer of cookie crumbs
  • add half the chocolate or caramel topping
  • Add final layer of ice cream
  • add cool whip topping
  • Drizzle remaining chocolate or caramel topping over cool whip.
  • Freeze overnight or until firm
