G’pa Lybbert’s Bacon Wrapped Smokies
COOK MODEIngredients
- 1 lb thin sliced bacon
- 1 lb beef lil' smokies
- ½ cup butter
- 2 cups brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375
- Cut bacon into thirds and wrap each smokie
- Place all wrapped smokies in a 9×13 baking dish that has been coated with a non-stick spray
- Melt butter and add 1 cup brown sugar. Stir
- Pour butter brown sugar mixture over smokies
- Take additional cup of brown sugar and sprinkle evenly over smokies
- Bake about 15-20 min.
- Turn het up to 400 for about 5 min. or longer until bacon becomes crispy
