Fred’s Babyback Ribs

Ingredients

  • 1-2 racks babyback ribs I prefer pork
  • 3 cups pineapple juice
  • cups brown sugar
  • tsp mustard powder
  • cup ketchup
  • cup red wine vinegar
  • tsp lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ tsp ground cloves
  • 2 tsp ground ginger
  • 4 tsp minced garlic
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper optional
  • 1 16 oz favorite BBQ sauce

Instructions

  • Cut each rack of ribs into sections consisting of 2-3 ribs. Place in crockpot
  • mix remaining ingredients and pour over ribs. Cook on low (8-9 hrs) or high (5-6 hrs). They will be very tender when done
  • Line a large cookie sheet with aluminum paper (spray it) or parchment paper. Turn oven on to broil. Place ribs gently onto cookie sheet and brush with your BBQ sauce. Cook for approx. 2 min. turn ribs over and brush with BBQ sauce and cook for another 2 min. Serve hot
