English Toffee (tastes like Almond Roca)
Ingredients
- 1 lb butter 4 cubes
- 2 ½ cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- 4 Tbsp light corn syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla
- chopped nuts
- chocolate chips
Instructions
- Cook sugar, syrup, water, and butter at medium high heat until it boils hard, stirring constantly, for about 20-30 minutes. Mixture will be golden brown (soft crack stage). Pour immediately in the pan.
- Grind nuts and chocolate (I use chocolate chips). Top with nuts and chocolate. Spread. Make an 11×15 pan.
