Can’t Leave ‘em Alone Nuts

Ingredients

Bring to boil in heavy pan:

  • ½ cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar

Add to pan:

  • 5 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 ⅓ cup Almonds

Instructions

  • Cook on medium high heat stirring constantly while boiling until all liquid has cooked out.   Pour out onto a cookie sheet.  They should be single layer thick.  Bake for 15 minutes at 325 and then cool.  They store better “open air” instead of airtight containers.
