Candied Nuts

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp light corn syrup
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 cup nuts
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon optional

Instructions

  • In a nonstick skillet, heat the sugar, syrup, butter and cinnamon, (if using) over medium heat, stirring as the mixture comes together and bubbles. 
  • Add the nuts and stir to heat.  Continue cooking for 5 – 7 minutes stirring constantly until nuts turn golden brown and smell toasted. 
  • Transfer to foil, waxed paper, or parchment and cool completely.  Break them apart with your fingers and enjoy!
