Bean/Sausage Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 can Bush's baked beans original, undrained
  • 1 can pinto beans mostly drained
  • 1 can kidney beans mostly drained
  • 1 can great northern beans mostly drained
  • 1 can black beans mostly drained
  • 1 can garbanzo beans mostly drained
  • 1 lb bacon or sausage cooked and crumbled
  • 2 Tbsp Basil
  • 1 pkg Little smokies (or sliced polish sausage)
  • ½ cup medium salsa
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 1-2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 medium yellow onion chopped up in small pieces

Instructions

  • Cook 1 lb or sausage or bacon, drain the fat
  • add chopped onion and saute until onions are soft
  • Mix all the other ingredients together in a large pot and cook for 20-30 minutes
