Balsamic Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • ¼-⅓ yellow onion diced
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp chicken bouilion
  • 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese grated

Instructions

  • Carmelize the onion in olive oil. Remove from heat. Drain any excess oil
  • Add chicken bouilion & balsamic vinegar. Use this as a rue
  • Gradually add heavy whipping cream, keeping the sauce at a simmer-stirring constantly.
  • gradually add grated cheese.

Notes

Goes well with ravioli, butternut squash, broccoli or other seasoned veggies.
