Aunt LaVerle’s Chicken

Ingredients

  • 8 chicken breasts
  • 1 4 oz pkg cream cheese with chives
  • 2 Tbsp soft butter
  • 1 can crescent rolls
  • ½ cup butter melted
  • ½ cup herb flavored dressing

Gravy:

  • 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cube beef bullion

Instructions

  • Bake chicken at 375º for 45 min., cut into bite size pieces. 
  • Mix cream cheese, butter with chicken.  Stretch out rolls, brush w/ melted butter.  Make golf sized chicken balls and place in middle of roll.  Fold crescent roll around the chicken ball and seal as best you can. 
  • Crush dressing to fine crumbs.  Roll the chicken/crescent roll into melted butter and then into crumbs.  Bake 350º for 18 min. on ungreased pan. Serve with gravy:
