Aunt LaVerle’s Chicken
COOK MODEIngredients
- 8 chicken breasts
- 1 4 oz pkg cream cheese with chives
- 2 Tbsp soft butter
- 1 can crescent rolls
- ½ cup butter melted
- ½ cup herb flavored dressing
Gravy:
- 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup water
- 1 cube beef bullion
Instructions
- Bake chicken at 375º for 45 min., cut into bite size pieces.
- Mix cream cheese, butter with chicken. Stretch out rolls, brush w/ melted butter. Make golf sized chicken balls and place in middle of roll. Fold crescent roll around the chicken ball and seal as best you can.
- Crush dressing to fine crumbs. Roll the chicken/crescent roll into melted butter and then into crumbs. Bake 350º for 18 min. on ungreased pan. Serve with gravy:
