Apple Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup oil Applesauce can be substituted successfully
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups apples peeled, cored, & chopped
  • 1 cup walnuts chopped & toasted (optional but recommended)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 and grease two loaf pans.
  • In small bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, soda, baking powder, & salt.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix together oil, both sugars, eggs, vanilla & apples.
  •  Gradually stir in flour mixture. Add walnuts if desired and mix together.
  • Pour into two greased large loaf pans and bake at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes or until breads done.
